Grenoble Software Event (GEC) at SUN

Really a nice feeling about it. Some speakers are good : Jason Baragry for example. And I can see - in real - peoples that were only voices on Podcasts, like Roman Strobl or Alexis Moussine-Pouchkine. I like to be in an international, all english speaking environment. Still the problem is that I already listen to podcast, read news, so I only discovered Identity Managment, OpenDS and Java CAPS. The tools for openESB and CAPS are impressive !

And I didn’t know that SUN was so ahead of the others in term of investment in Open Source !!

Guess it is time to invest in SUN techno …

    Alexis Moussine-Pouchkkine connait vraiment bien son sujet, tu vas voir après tu installeras comme moi glassfish :).
    Pour ce qui est de Roman Strobl, j’ai rarement rencontré quelqu’un d’aussi jovial et sympathique. On a tout de suite envie d’aller sympathiser après l’avoir vu présenter NetBeans en fait “il est comme nous”.
    Je ne connais pas Jason Baragry (je vais me renseigner sur lui dès a présent) mais pour les deux autres larrons, ils sont effectivement des evangélists de premier choix pour SUN.

    Quand est-ce que se déroulent le GEC exactement ?

    He bien, ca vient de finir. C’était vraiment bien, ca donne envie quoi, maintenant il faut espérer que les projets arrivent.
