QoS on Linux : unleach the mule and keep surfing

The problem is to give priority to http (web surfing) over ftp
and p2p (bulk download : amule bittorrent … ) This is possible via
QoS : Quality of Service. A very large subject, our personnal use can
be considered only as a side effect of QoS.

The main explaination is the Linux Advanced Routing & Traffic Control Howto. (There is a very good french translation.)
Since the howo is very long, you may skip the theory and go directly to
the “Cookbook” chapter. If it doesn’t fits your need, don’t forget to
check the “Furhter reading” chapter.

I will test all this very soon.
